Easter workshop with AshiNor

Dear young and grown-up artists,

Spring is here, Easter is approaching, and that means only one thing — it's time for creativity, colors and lots of smiles!

Welcome to AshiNor's special Easter workshop in the cozy atmosphere of the  Cultural Center „Jules Pascin”!

On April 18 and 19 (Friday and Saturday) from 11:00 a.m. we will create:

Fabulous Easter cards with spring motifs.

Exquisite gift boxes – handmade for your festive eggs.

We will use designer papers, artistic techniques and a lot of imagination to bring your unique ideas to life.

Traditional Dixieland style jazz concert

On April 8, 2025, under the arches of the historic building - today the Cultural Center „Jules Pascin” - the rhythms of classic Dixieland jazz sounded, presented by the military jazz ensemble of the US Army Forces in Europe and Africa - the Rhine River Ramblers.

With great enthusiasm, the musicians took the audience to the golden age of New Orleans. The hall was filled with applause and smiles as they played the familiar melodies of classic jazz standards.

Anniversary concert of the chamber ensemble "Collegium Hosanna"

On April 7, 2025, an anniversary concert of the chamber ensemble "Collegium HOSANNA" took place at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin”.

The event is part of the series of concerts with which the formation celebrates 25 years since its establishment.

The program included original works and arrangements by Georgi Popov. Among the performances were:

•“Our Father” from the Holy Liturgy No. 4 in Church Slavonic

•“Apostolic Primates” – troparion in honor of the Holy Apostles Petar and Pavel

Jules Pascin – 140th anniversary of the artist's birth

On March 31, 1885, Julius Mordecai Pinkas, later known to the world as Jules Pascin, was born in Vidin. He is among the most recognizable artists of his time, leaving a significant mark on European and American art. His works, marked by elegance, sensuality and subtle psychologism, make him an emblematic figure, crossing different artistic directions. Pascin left Bulgaria and settled in Paris, where he became immersed in the artistic life of Montparnasse. Over time, he developed a unique style, combining elements of Impressionism and Expressionism.

The Splendor of Baroque – Vidin Symphony Orchestra Concert

Come to the Cultural Center „Jules Pascin” on April 3rd at 7:00 PM, where a concert dedicated to Baroque music will be held.

The program will feature works by Vivaldi, Bach and Alessandro Marcello, including:

"The Four Seasons" - Vivaldi

Piano Concerto in F minor BWV 1057 – Bach

Oboe Concerto in D minor, S D935 – Alessandro Marcello

Under the baton of Maestro Petar Dimitrov, the soloists will be the exceptional musicians:

HIGHER EDUCATION OVERVIEW – VIDIN 2025

For two days, the Cultural Center „Jules Pacin” hosted the Panorama of Higher Education - Vidin 2025 for the second consecutive year. 

The event, organized by the Municipality of Vidin, Center for Support for Personal Development - Career Guidance and Consulting and in partnership with the Regional Department of Education - Vidin (RDE), provided an opportunity for future students to meet representatives of 25 higher education institutions from Bulgaria. 

Performance "Tulipomania"

"Tulipomania" Took Over the Stage of the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin" 

On March 1st, the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin" in Vidin became a stage for powerful emotions and profound messages. The audience was immersed in the magic of *Tulipomania* – a solo performance by Adriana Slavova, presented under the direction and choreography of Petya Yosifova-Hunkins.

Practical Seminar "Secrets to Dealing with the Mind"

The Cultural Center “Jules Pascin” hosted the practical seminar "Secrets to Dealing with the Mind", organized by the Freedom to BE Center. The special guest and speaker at the event was Swami Satyaanand from India, a disciple of the world-famous spiritual teacher Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
