For two days, the Cultural Center „Jules Pacin” hosted the Panorama of Higher Education - Vidin 2025 for the second consecutive year.
The event, organized by the Municipality of Vidin, Center for Support for Personal Development - Career Guidance and Consulting and in partnership with the Regional Department of Education - Vidin (RDE), provided an opportunity for future students to meet representatives of 25 higher education institutions from Bulgaria.
The panorama was opened by Silvia Stavreva, Director of the Center for Higher Education and Research – Vidin, who welcomed all attendees and emphasized the importance of informed choice when applying to a higher education institution.
The Mayor of Vidin, Dr. Tsvetan Tsenkov, emphasized the importance of higher education and encouraged students to use their knowledge and skills for the benefit of their hometown: “Your realization can give a huge boost to the development of our city and our country.”
Vidin Regional Governor Ani Harutyunyan also delivered an emotional message: “Your choice will shape your future.”
Among the official guests of the event were Mrs. Borislava Borisova - Deputy Mayor for Humanitarian Activities and Social Policy of Vidin Municipality, Mrs. Veselka Asenova - Head of the Vidin Regional Development Office, as well as the Deputy Mayor for Territorial Planning and Infrastructure Development of Vidin Municipality - Eng. Rumen Lilov.
Students had the opportunity to receive information about majors, tuition fees, scholarships and career opportunities. The following higher education institutions participated in the event:
