The lightning saint

The host of the news program "Around the World and at Home" on BNT, Angel Bonchev, presents his authorial film, "The Lightning Saint," dedicated to St. Ephraim Novi, to the Vidin audience.

This will take place on January 16 at 6 p.m. at the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin."

The film tells the story of the angelic life and wonderful miracles of St. Ephraim Novi. It features people who have been touched by the miraculous help of St. Ephraim Novi. "The Lightning Saint" captures personal stories of people who have experienced healing from cancer, the return to life of a baby who died in its mother's womb, and the recovery from mental illness of a Bulgarian woman who had previously attempted suicide. A famous Greek singer shares how St. Ephraim Novi protected her from losing her voice. The great Bulgarian actress Emilia Radeva narrates a scene in the film, playing the role of Mother Makaria, who found the relics of St. Ephraim Novi on January 3, 1950.

St. Ephraim Novi is called the “lightning saint” because of the rapid miracles that occur through his prayers.

Tickets for the screening are now available at the churches of “St. Dimitar” and “St. Nicholas.”
